Boat Works of Alaska History

Boat Works of Alaska was founded in 1999 on the south side hill of Anchorage. What began as simple repairs for friends and family grew faster and bigger than we could have imagined. Word spread quickly and we have been causing waves ever since! We have greatly expanded our operation to encompass every aspect of marine maintenance, repair, and customization.

BWA has always been a family centered venture built on the sweat and blood of family and friends to create something truly unique. We have been very fortunate to be surrounded by skilled people that helped make BWA what it is today and look forward to what it will become.
